Privacy notice

Data controller

IOTECH SEC S.A. de C.V. ("IOTECH"), located at Blvd. de las Ciencias 3015, Juriquilla, Querétaro, Querétaro, México, is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and applicable regulations. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Data we collect

Through the contact forms, the Perímetro newsletter sign-up and the OT maturity assessment we collect your name, email, phone, company, job title, the message you send, your assessment answers and results, your language and, where applicable, campaign (UTM) parameters. We do not request sensitive personal data through this channel; please do not include confidential details of your infrastructure (IP addresses, credentials or diagrams) in the forms.

Browsing data

When you visit the site, our server logs your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser and device type. We use public registries (RDAP) to find the organization that owns the network of an IP address, such as an industrial company or a university; we do not use it to identify individuals. Your browser also stores locally a random identifier and the list of pages you visit on this site; that information is only sent to us if you submit a form, so we understand the topics you are interested in and can better handle your request. If your browser sends a "Global Privacy Control" or "Do Not Track" signal, this history is not stored.

Primary purposes

Responding to your request, delivering your assessment result, following up commercially on it, scheduling meetings or demos, sending you proposals related to the services you asked about, and keeping the site secure.

Statistics and prospecting

We use browsing data to produce internal site statistics and reports of the organizations (not individuals) that visit it, to guide our sales efforts. You can object to this processing by writing to contacto@iotech.mx.

Secondary purposes

Only if you authorize it by ticking the corresponding box: sending you our Perímetro newsletter with OT/ICS cybersecurity vulnerabilities and analysis, and event invitations. You can refuse or withdraw your consent at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in every email or by writing to contacto@iotech.mx. Refusing does not affect how we handle your request.

Transfers and processors

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes. We use providers acting on our behalf (processors), such as email and customer-management services, who are obliged to protect your data. We may disclose your data to authorities when required by law.

ARCO rights and withdrawal

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO), and withdraw your consent, by writing to contacto@iotech.mx with your name, a way to reply to you, a clear description of your request and, where applicable, a copy of an ID. We will respond within the legal deadlines.

Retention and security

We keep your contact data only as long as needed for the purposes described, and server browsing logs for up to 12 months. We apply administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect it against damage, loss, alteration or unauthorized access.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking or analytics tools. The podcast player (Spotify) only loads if you click it; from then on Spotify may use its own cookies. To protect the forms against automated submissions we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address and technical browser data solely to verify that you are a person. To understand how the site is used we run our own statistics tool, hosted on our servers, which uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and honors the Do Not Track signal. The site only uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) for the identifier and page history described above and to save your progress in the assessment. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings.
